There are several available ways to view sales data, the following contains a description of what information will appear in each "view":
All Transactions
The "All Transactions" view includes both sale records from sale platforms and transactions with an income type general ledger account where money is coming into your account.
Item Detail
The "Item Detail" shows only sale records from sale platforms. This is traditionally what was shown in My Reseller Genie before we added support to categorize transactions with an income type general ledger account. You'll see more details on these records including order id, item information, and expenses that are connected to the sale.
Item Detail (Attached to Transaction)
My Reseller Genie now allows accrual inventory method users to track inventory purchases at the transaction level (instead of only tracking these purchases at the item level). This helps to ensure that all of your items are entered and their total lines up with the original purchase amount.
The "Item Detail (Attached to Transaction)" view allows you to see all the sold items that have been matched up with an inventory purchase transaction.
Item Detail (Unattached)
My Reseller Genie now allows accrual inventory method users to track inventory purchases at the transaction level (instead of only tracking these purchases at the item level). This helps to ensure that all of your items are entered and their total lines up with the original purchase amount.
The "Item Detail (Unattached)" view allows you to see all the sold items that have not been matched up with an inventory purchase transaction.
Refund Attached
The "Refund Attached" view shows platform sales records that have a refund associated with them.
Unreviewed
The "Unreviewed" view shows platform sales records that haven't been reviewed. These are the same items that will appear when you click on the notification that says "Click here to review new sales." As an alternative to clicking the notification, you can select these sales and either mark them as reviewed (if you're using the cash inventory method) or match them to inventory (if you're using the accrual inventory method).
Missing Dates
The "Missing Dates" view shows all platform sales records that have dates missing from the "Purchase Date", "List Date", and/or "Sale Date" fields.
Other Income
The "Other Income" view shows all transactions with an income type general ledger account where money is coming into your account. **Note: if the transaction has an income type general ledger account and records money going out of your account, it will appear in the Refunds > Other Refunds view.
